The Rainbow Laces campaign was created in 2013 by Stonewall as a way to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ communities within sport. Today the campaign has been opened up to new industries and is used to create conversation around diversity on and off the pitch!
We want to make everyone feels included and empowered to be themselves internally and on site so we take regular Rainbow Lace walk around our local area as a team. We take this opportunity to discuss the potential boundaries and discrimination that LGBTQ+ communities might face in the workplace and on site.
Did you know that almost one in five LGBT staff (18 per cent) have been the target of negative comments or
conduct from work colleagues in the last year because they're LGBTQ+.
We host regular Stonewall training events in our office so that we are able to create an inclusive setting in the workplace. Find our more about the Rainbow Laces campaign here.
