CarmichaelUK are hosting a Health Concerns Month across the 80km central section of HS2, in partnership with EKFB.
Over the course of the Month, CarmichaelUK is visiting each site across the 80km central section of HS2, in partnership with EKFB, to run talks and drop-in sessions on Health Conditions. Each session covers four main areas of health: Mental Health, Occupational Health, Drugs & Alcohol and Nutrition.
The first talk took place today at Chipping Warden and focussed on a variety of health and welfare concerns that may potentially affect people and their families.
Working in conjunction with PAM Assist, the onsite occupational health team, CarmichaelUK highlighted some of the causes of stress, both in and out of work, and provided guidance about how to deal with it. At the end of the presentation, the PAM occupational health team were on hand to check blood pressure readings and provide helpful advice and guidance about healthy living.
