CarmichaelUK are immensely proud to receive an award of this nature, as we currently acknowledge and support Mental Health Awareness Week. We are fully focused and committed to promoting the cause and believe that being totally accessible to our candidates and employees is of great importance.
Over the past year, CarmichaelUK have provided Mental Health First Aid training for 17 internal staff members and 11 on-site candidates who are dedicated to helping us address mental health on site and in the construction and engineering industry.
The two-day course qualified the attendees as Mental Health First Aiders, equipping them with the knowledge and understanding to confidently spot the signs/triggers and offer support and reassurance of somebody who may be experiencing mental health problems. Our mental health first aiders are available to all employees and working candidates should they ever require assistance.
CarmichaelUK is proud to be a part of the construction industry and look forward to continuing to support our clients and candidates with innovative and caring staffing solutions. Our company ethos of “placing people first” is at the forefront of everything we do, we understand that we have a duty of care for our candidates and work hard to fulfil this.
