Project Update: Thames Water Eight2o

As part of the Thames Water eight2o framework, an eight strong alliance has been formed to deliver £1.738bn worth of essential work for Thames Water, implementing essential improvements to its ageing network over the AMP6 period (2015-2020). eight2O is the largest alliance in the water sector. The partners involved are Thames Water and two design and build joint ventures made up of Costain, Atkins, Black & Veatch (CABV); and Skanska, MWH and Balfour Beatty (SMB). 

The main projects within the framework are working on are the large water treatment works in London, Hampton, Ashford, Kempton and Walton under the wastewater non-infrastructure quadrant. The biggest project includes working on the Thames Tideway Tunnel Interface project.

The overall eight2o work is set to be completed in 2020 with a potential to extend contracts until 2025.
