Our Compliance team works tirelessly to ensure that here at Carmichaeluk we are providing the highest levels of candidate compliance, and our teams’ hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!

Earlier in the year, CarmichaelUK was shortlisted for the ‘Most Effective Compliance Operation Award’ at the 2018 Recruiter Awards. Alongside this, we are also a member of Constructing Better Health (CBH), an accredited Contractors Health And Safety (CHAS) contractor and hold ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditations.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 161 national standards bodies. Through its members, ISO brings together experts to share knowledge and develop market-relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.  If a business is following the rules and regulations put into effect by the International Organization for Standardization it is said to be ISO compliant.

ISO 9001:2015 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 has enabled CarmichaelUK to meet every client requirement, improve our business customer service and many other benefits.

ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). It provides a framework that an organization can follow, rather than establish environmental performance requirements. This accreditation has enabled CarmichaelUK to set up a fully integrated and effective EMS, which has streamlined our operations, allocated time and resources more effectively and increased overall efficiency.

We take our compliance responsibility seriously, ensuring and continually monitoring our contractors meet the necessary legal requirements to work in the industry. Visit our Compliance page to learn more about what our Compliance team do!
