As a Planner, you will be supporting the Project Manager to lead the contractual programme reporting and construction programme planning and scheduling of a major water framework project in Newport.
Supporting the Project Manager in producing, overseeing and monitoring adherence to overall project for Construction Programme attainment.
Support in the planning, overseeing and coordination of Specialist Sub Contractor product design, submission, approval, manufacture, inspection, delivery, installation and integration into the Project Scope of works.
Support the PM in the delivery and briefing to the project team daily and weekly briefings to proactively focus design (temporary and permanent), procurement, labour, plant and staff in order to secure programmed dates and milestones.
Report and refer major problems and concerns with regards to all aspects of the rolls noted above in a timely and honest manner to the Project Manager and Operations / Contracts Manager
A degree/diploma in Construction
Structures and Commercial Build experience
Numerically proficient e.g. take offs, resource levels etc.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to adhere to strict deadlines on a daily & weekly basis
NEC / EWN type of contract awareness and compliance
