Are you looking to work on the exciting Thames Tideway Tunnel project - then this could be the opportunity for you. A Site Agent is required to join one of the tier one principal contractor involved on the Central Section of the works. This particular section is the Chelsea Embankment Foreshore project. This section will run for 4 years. Starting with the site set up, shaft construction, tunnelling and secondary lining, structures and completion of works.
As Site Agent you will have:
Engineering background and qualification (section/senior/project) Relevant experience- tunnelling, shaft and marine construction (civil engineering) Construction / Project Manager / site agent capabilities Predominantly office based role
Responsibilities to include: Managing preconstruction activities (start on site September 17) Inputting to consent documentation and achieving approvals Chairing and managing design/subcontractor meetings Managing site based construction delivery and key subcontracts Liaison with project stakeholders (internal, external, client) Coordination of subcontract package procurement and package delivery H&S leadership
Championing and managing quality deliverables Programme management/responsibility Management of direct civil works Leadership and teamwork The successful candidate will not only benefit from working with a respected contractor on a major civil engineering scheme, but they will also benefit from working with a firm who prides on looking after their candidates.
