We are looking to hear from Engineers who are confident and comfortable in not only leading teams but who have the knowledge and skills to undertake work competently and proactively. If you have experience of earthworks then this contract - which is due to commence at the end of May - could be an ideal next contract for you.
The contract will be for six months and maybe extended depending on the works requirements. You will be working in Oxfordshire and the works involved will include drainage, piling and concrete frames so your prior earthworks experience of muck, soft spots and cement stabilising will be vital. It would also be advantageous if your previous contracts have included car parks, curbs and drainage as this will make up a large part of the work in this particular contract.
This well-known contractor is looking for a great communicator to deal with running inductions and dealing with suppliers so your confidence in your abilities and the fact that you are a team player will be highly advantageous in securing this contract.
Working as part of the contracting team, your key responsibilities and duties will include: *Assisting with the drainage, piling and concrete frames sections of work *Amending and writing method statements and risk assessments *Carrying out quality inspections as required *Producing permits to dig, permits to work *Managing take-offs and ordering materials *Run on-site inductions
This contract commences at the end of May so we would love to discuss this role with you further if you want to secure your next six months work with an established and respected contractor.
