We are delighted to be working with a tier 1 Consulting Engineer to find an exemplary Engineer with extensive highways experience who will be able to employ their knowledge and abilities in managing their highways projects within the Greater Manchester Region.
This is an ideal position for someone who excels in managing schemes safely and can demonstrate proven ability in the end to end activities from forward planning, design through to close out procedures.
You will lead, manage and oversee the Highway Investment Programme and other schemes for this engineering consultant who specialise in the design and improvement of roads and motorways and benefit from working for a leading organisation who value their staff and support their personal development.
For this role, your duties and responsibilities will include: *The planning, programming, design and construction supervision of highways and major roads projects *Costing of schemes and overseeing their profitability *Liaison and interaction with the client, Contractors, Sub Contractors, public figures and the public *Overseeing and ensuring the overall project is within budget and constructed to specifications *Ensure records are properly kept and asbuilts are compiled *Ensure safety is front of mind *Manage the delivery team
