An opportunity exists for a freelance Section Engineer to manage projects for this leading tier one principle contractor. Previous experience within the waste water and water treatment environment is essential for this post.
As a Section Engineer your duties will encompass the following: *Managing site staff including Site Engineers and subcontractors *Compiling of Method Statements and risk analysis *Overseeing the setting out and as builts *Monitor and implement weekly programs *Interpreting and implementing of the construction process and procedure *Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications *Quality control in accordance to the specifications *Permit clearances, RFIs, daily records, etc. *Health and Safety compliance
Requirements: *HND or Degree in Civil Engineering *Extensive continuous construction experience on large civil engineering projects especially on utilities including treatment works (water and waste water treatment works) as a Section Engineer *Experience in piping, drainage and concrete construction and commissioning is advantageous. *CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid. *EUSR Water hygiene card
