Do you have previous experience of supervising site safety within the rail industry and are looking for an on-going contract working weekends? If so, then we have the ideal position for you.

This contract is for a committed freelancer with rail experience to work with a major contractor on an on-going contract as part of their weekend work team. Commencing in mid-April, this position is to supervise all weekend engineering work and to ensure the safety of the workforce. As an experienced rail professional, ideally within a OLE environment, you will be working with a main contractor as part of their dedicated team, delivering safe engineering solutions.

For this position, your overall duties will include:

*Monitoring Site Safety at all times
*Ensuring that site procedures are adhered to
*Have the confidence to call of work if there are any issues which could have a safety impact
*Supervising all work on site during the weekend period

Working for this main contractor you will be able to demonstrate your excellent management and supervisory skills and benefit from working for one of the leading industry names in rail.

If you are interested in the position, the successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

*PTS COSS (Controller of Site Safety) & ES (Engineering Supervisor)
*Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering allied subject
*Previous rail experience ideally within an OLE environment (OLEC)
*Up to date D&A and Medical
*Hold a valid CSCS card
*Prepared to work weekends
