Are you an ambitious Project Manager who wants to work on an ongoing contract on the UK's largest airport?
We have the requirement for a contract PM to work at Heathrow for a respected main contractor as part of their airport maintenance team, working on the night shifts of this dedicated role. Works will be airside and will include asphalt repairs and extensions and also airfield ground lighting maintenance. This is an integral part of maintaining one of the world's busiest airports and you will need to be organised with an eye for priority and deadlines in order to keep the airside operations functioning.
For this role, the key responsibilities and duties would include:
*Develop forms and records to document project activities *Monitor the progress of works and manage a robust change control process *Review the quality of the work completed with the team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the clients high quality standards *Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow and variance to senior management on a regular basis (monthly/bimonthly) *Administer the maintenance contract in accordance with the client's requirements *Manage and advise on testing, commissioning and defects *Oversee the handover of works to day team
This is a challenging role for a Project Manager who works well under pressure of tight deadlines and can motivate and communicate with the team on delivery of work.
The successful applicant will also need to have the following requirements:
*Have previously worked within civils or maintenance sector *Previous experience of working as a PM *Hold a construction related degree or HNC *Hold a valid CSCS Card
