Look no further as Tottenham Court Road is the most significant of the new Crossrail Stations in Central London with an expected footfall of over 150,000 people per day when it opens. The station comprises two main station boxes, over 1km of tunnels and connections to the existing LUL Northern Line and Central Lines.
The project is recruiting a package/project manager to lead the design and installation of a number of high profile architectural elements.
Duties as Project Manager / Package Manager:
Deliver architectural package works in compliance with client expectations, company objectives and management systems. Fully manage design completion and monitor design change Contribute to coordinated construction planning, programming and sequencing Actively engage with subcontractors and manage subcontract variations, review/agree sub-contractor progress reports/submissions. Chair Trade contractor meetings to review and control time, cost, quality, safety. Represent the Trade Contractor at coordination meetings Monitor progress, ensuring that work quality and techniques are of a compliant standard, report regularly on project performance and cost against company objectives. Ensure that safety is an integral to all construction planning and processes. Observe safe systems of work, report potential hazards and environmental risk. Deliver right 1st time packages in accordance with the works information.
Key skills/ attributes:
Experience on large multi-disciplinary projects with complex interfaces Experience related to fit out trades Good Engagement with Construction Team, support staff, commercial, client teams Awareness of RIBA Design process and common design details Ability to review designs drawings for coordination compliance and buildability Active use of design collaboration tools, eg ASite Keen awareness of best practice safe systems of works Ability to innovate solutions for construction issues
