STRUCTURES PROJECT MANAGER - HIGHWAYS INFRASTRUCTURE
LOCATION: SE LONDON, UK
SALARY: £280-330/day

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Structures Project Manager skilled in Highway Infrastructure works to join a highly regarded Highways contractor on a Major Highways Maintenance contract based in south London along the M25.

This key role will be based within the Structures team responsible for ongoing maintenance and preservation of existing structural assets on various schemes. The ideal candidate will have had significant previous experience in a highways construction in the UK and come from a structural engineering background.
This will be a challenging career development role that will significantly help further your skills in asset and subcontractor management working on a major highways contract with one of the industry's best.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

*Plan and manage delivery of structural maintenance operations on existing assets in accordance with legislative code and standards
*Development and Implementation of inspection test plans and reporting
*Assist in delivery of TMC performance reporting and delivery findings to key stakeholders / management
*Monitoring of programme expenditure and produce financial forecasting / monthly budget reports
*Subcontractor management and processing of associated payment claims and variations.
*Prepare pricing schedules and tender proposals for client evaluation

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
*Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or relevant HNC/HND equivalent
*Experience working on major HIGHWAYS projects with a main contractor
*High degree of structural design / construction knowledge
*Excellent written and verbal communication
*Experience with NEC forms of contract highly desirable
