I am currently looking for an Engineer to work as a Project Engineer for the Clients Representative on a medium sized rail project, running between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and valued at approximately £20million. The project has just begun and is expected to run for approx. 18 more months, so this could be a great opportunity for the right person.
As the right candidate you will have a proven track record working in the rail environment, ideally with a strong background in track repairs and signalling upgrade works, although not essential. This role is available as either a permanent or freelance position, with the client's preference being temp. to perm.
You would be responsible for inspecting works on site, QA compliance, approving site documentation and managing the delivery contractor, their programme and general day-to-day duties such as reports, safety inspections etc.
The rate will depend on an offer made from the client after your interview; however, I expect this to be competitive in the market rate and can put a rate forward on your behalf before any interviews take place if desired.
Does this sound like something that you're interested in? then get in touch via with your up-to-date CV, your availability and desired rate and I will be in touch within 48hrs to discuss further.
Not for you? But have a friend that might be keen? We offer a £500 referral bonus, so it's worth putting us in touch (T&Cs can be found online)
Not sure? Want to talk further? Let me know and we can have a quick, confidential and casual chat.
