Would you like to showcase your extensive planning skills and have a proven track record of working on civil engineering projects? If so, we would love to discuss with you joining this leading civil engineering organisation to deliver a major water improvement programme.

You will play an integral part of the project team, supporting the Project Manager and Programme lead in planning and tracking the works programmes.

For this particular position, your key responsibilities and duties will include:
*Ensure planning practices & standards are consistent across each individual project
*Lead the Plan for Stage process including development of robust delivery plans & understand constraints & sequences
*Work with and support the Project Manager and Programme Lead by producing and maintaining project plans, tracking actual time against planned time and report project status to Project Manager and Integrated Programme Lead;
*Work with Project Controllers and Cost Managers to integrate time and cost;
*Develop & maintain the accuracy of each plan through a collaborative approach to ensure collective ownership & buy in from all relevant stakeholders & suppliers
*Facilitate the coming together of different elements of the plan supplied by relevant suppliers & stakeholders, continually monitoring performance and managing the interfaces between each of them
*Work closely with the IPL, PDM, PCM, Technical Manager & Construction Manager to accurately influence and predict project performance.
*Review the risk registers on ARM (Active Risk Manager) against to the current programme;
*Enable Project Management to control the progress of contracts by identifying and producing integrated programmes of work, monitoring performance against plans and identifying problem areas and other effects
*Regularly consult with Project teams to ensure an accurate understanding of the work issues and representation of the project status
*Understand the sub-contractor scope & plan to ensure the required performance is delivered & any under performance is highlighted in advance

If you have previously worked on water programmes and civils projects, then you will be able to demonstrate your planning skills and understanding of project requirement's whilst adding significant value to the team.
The successful applicant will also need to have the following requirements:
*Qualification in project management, planning, or construction management
(Or able to demonstrate the aptitude and mind-set that could quickly be up and running)
*Knowledge and experience of multi-discipline design, construct and commission projects
*Experienced in using Primavera - P6 preferred
*Be Pro-active and participate as a key player in a dynamic team
