We are looking for a Utilities Coordinator on a part-time basis as this particular project is in its final stages of completion. Bond Street station is undergoing a station upgrade as part of the Crossrail project and you will be contracted to manage and coordinate the final utilities works. You will have previously worked in the engineering field in a similar position for many years and will be experienced in the completion of works, updating and maintaining drawings and have an understanding of the implementation of safe systems. This position requires an experienced Coordinator who can come in and get the work done safely and to a high standard.
This freelance position will see you working over 2 3 days a week and your duties will include: *Carrying out the management and implementation of safe systems of work for e-ground penetrations in the vicinity of underground services *Liaison with engineers and sub-contractors to ensure safe working methods are implemented during works *Drive the process to ensure all permits to penetrate are produced and issued in a timely manner and expired permits are cancelled and archived accordingly *Update and maintain utility services drawings with existing and new services *Raise awareness within the Project Team relating to working in the vicinity of services Communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately
This project is part of the UK's largest infrastructure project so if you are looking to reduce the hours you work but put to good use your many years of skills and experience, then this position is ideal for you.
You will also need to demonstrate that you possess the following requirements: *Previously worked as an Engineer/Coordinator in the Utilities sector *Hold a valid CSCS Card *Previous experience working on rail and civils projects with a main contractor
