If you are an Intermediate / Junior Site Engineer/Manager and are looking to increase your knowledge and experience within the construction sector, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
You will be joining a National Contractor on various contracts including the construction of commercial buildings, hotels, office blocks, student accommodation and shopping centres etc. where you will gain valuable experience and knowledge on a multitude of different projects.
You will already be competent in setting out of building structures and previous knowledge of concrete and reinforcing including bending schedules would be highly advantageous to your application.
For this particular contract, your main key responsibilities and duties will include:
*Setting out of foundations, walls floors staircases etc
*Interpreting the construction drawings
*Ensuring the works are constructed according to the design and specifications
*Review the bending schedules and call off rebar
*Pre-pour checks and order concrete
*Liaise with Site Manager and Senior Engineers
*Enforce company Health and Safety standards and ensure Quality.

If you feel that your skills and experience are perfect for this position, you will also need to demonstrate:
*HND/HNC/BSc in Construction or Civil Engineering
*Knowledgeable of concrete and reinforcing including reading bending schedules
*Competent in setting out of buildings
*Responsible, reliable, competent and conscientious
