A Senior Health & Safety Advisor is required for a major Crossrail scheme in West London for a top tier contractor.
Key elements of the project include: - Building and Structures works Highways works and Traffic Management - Surface Water Drainage and Utilities - Ground Control and Monitoring Mechanical, Electrical, Fire and Public Health works - Installation of Crossrail's system wide communications equipment and materials - Landscaping, site restoration and urban realm
As Senior Health & Safety Advisor you will be responsible for: - Implement and actively promote health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and campaigns in line with Crossrail contractors - Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health and environmental incidents and continuously drive for improvement - Undertake site inspections and observations as required, report findings find solutions to identified issues - Set standards and lead by example in the management of Health & Safety and assist in training programmes for staff
They're looking for: - Line management experience (essential) - Construction Industry experience (essential) Crossrail experience (ideal) - NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 - Graduate Member of OSH working towards CMIOSH / or CMIOSH Working towards CMIOSH through GradOSH route - Working towards NEBOSH Health and Wellbeing Certificate
