Resolve design issues with the MEP sub-contractor, ensure timely client team approvals and oversee quality of site installations for a £90m new build commercial development

Role Description
A building service manager is required to work on a major commercial new build project. You will coordinate and control the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services including their specialist engineering sub-contractors, providing specialist input at construction phase of construction including commissioning and hand over.

Responsibilities will include:
* To take responsibility for ensuring that Mechanical and Electrical works undertaken on site are completed safely maintaining quality, programme and cost.
* Carry out weekly meetings with MEP Contractors, to review contractors design, programme and progress.
* Monitor and report on Contractors Procurement and Labour schedules.
* Review Method / Risk / Health and Safety statements.
* Testing and commissioning programme and process
* Resolve design issues with the MEP sub-contractor
* Ensure timely client team approvals
* Oversee quality of site installations for a £90m new build commercial development

Required Experience
You must have significant experience as a Building Services Manager and should have worked for an M&E Contractor or Main Contractor, working on construction projects up to £10m or more with a bias towards M/E co-ordination with knowledge of M/E installation.
