I'm currently seeking a Site Agent to work on the Queensferry Crossing of the Forth Road Bridge in Edinburgh.
There is 4 months of work available with the opportunity of moving onto a wind farm project once the bridge is complete. The 1.7 miles (2.7km) structure will be the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world and also by far the largest to feature cables which cross mid-span. The value of the project is £1.35 billion
Role: *Leadership in the delivery of all construction within their section of works whilst maintaining the highest standards of delivery in line with the programme, budget, quality, environmental, health & safety *Day to day control of site management including maintaining a safe site, site set-up and compliance with safe methods of work and regulations. *Determine the resource requirements for the completion of the works. Assign roles, tasks and responsibilities necessary for completion of the works. *Identify and obtain relevant information in order to plan the works. Ensure necessary information is provided to all parties (Client, Staff, Designers, Operatives, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc) to ensure efficient design, construction, maintenance and costing. *Monitor productivity and manage / supervise staff, operatives, sub-contractors and associated plant.
Skills: * Previously worked as an Agent on a roads/bridge project * You have worked on high value projects ideally with main contractor * Hold a valid CSCS card * BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent.
