AGENT / BACK SHIFT MANAGER - RAIL STATION UPGRADE
LOCATION: CENTRAL LONDON
RATE: £35-40 Per / hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Agent / Back Shift Manager to join a leading main contractor on a prestigious rail station upgrade project in in Central London.

You will be responsible for ensuring project delivery and enabling the execution of the principal contractor / principal designer obligations, the planning, monitoring and management of construction activities and all Health and Safety aspects.

The role will be managing back shift rotation and typical work hours will be 1pm-11pm. Works are expected to last 12 months.

The successful candidate will need to possess:

*Strong ability to manage a construction site. This includes all construction related activities, safety and quality aspects of the works.
*Considerable experience in managing major external works packages, preferably in a railway station construction site or similar safety-conscious environment.
*A good awareness of construction methods plant and equipment installation, finishes and systems integration.
*Be knowledgeable of the CDM Regulations as applied to the Design and Construction processes.
*Be knowledgeable of relevant British, European, LUL and Company Standards and the Reference/Working Manual.
*Experience of working on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
*Experience of operating in a multi-contractor site environment.
*Experience of commissioning and handover of infrastructure assets for operational use and effective construction phasing.
*Experience of working in complex project management, safety focused and regulated organisation, where there are multiple, complex interfaces and delivering to time, budget and quality.

Essential Skills Required:
*Experience managing large scale external works packages for a main contractor - Preferably in rail environment
*A Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or Equivalent HNC
*Valid CSCS card
*Previously worked as an Agent or Shift Manager with a main contractor
